A former secretary, Kerri traded her part time job working for a veterinarian into a bustling, full time pet sitting business.  An avowed lover of animals, Kerri's career as a pet sitter began in 1988, when a few veterinary clients asked if she would perform home visits to care for their pets while vacationing.  Five months later, she started Kerri's Cat Care.  Today, Kerri’s Cat Care’s business now includes nearly 2,000 clients, all kinds of animals, and visits to more than 220 households.

Kerri is the first inductee into The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters Hall of Fame. She has lectured both locally and nationally, and is often featured in the print, television and radio media.
